About Me

Catherine commenced private practice at the Queensland Bar in 2000 after a career in a variety of areas including academia and human services including public housing, health and welfare.

Main areas of practice are criminal and family law. Main areas of interests are criminal, family, administrative, constitutional and human rights law including anti-discrimination.

Catherine has an impressive success rate in jury trials, particularly trials involving sexual offences and offences of violence. She enjoys doing circuit work and travels regularly to both western and far northern parts of the State.
