About Chris

Chris practices primarily in commercial law and criminal law and family law, including parenting disputes, property disputes, and spousal maintenance disputes.

Chris has accumulated considerable experience in a whole range of complex family law disputes, and he regularly appears in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Divisions 1 & 2) for interim hearings and final hearings and contravention hearings as well as in appeals.

Chris also appears in the Magistrates Court of Queensland, the District Court of Queensland, and the Supreme Court of Queensland, in both civil jurisdiction and criminal jurisdiction.

Chris regularly appears in Brisbane and on circuit regionally throughout Queensland, and he also accepts briefs for appearances in all other States and Territories of Australia.

Chris has a keen eye for detail and wherever possible provides timely advice on appropriate steps necessary to achieve the best possible outcomes for his instructing solicitors and clients.
